We combine the storytelling skills of BBC broadcast production with an in-depth professional knowledge of museum and heritage curation and interpretation.

Director
Lucidity Media was established in 2008 providing interpretation and content development to an extensive client list in the museums, cultural and heritage sector.

Lucy Harland is Director of Lucidity Media and spent more than 10 years working in BBC Radio production, making documentaries and features for Radio Scotland and Radio 4 on historical and contemporary subjects. She devised and produced Radio Scotland’s long-running popular history series, Past Lives.

Lucy is also a qualified museum curator and an Associate of the Museums Association, formerly Senior Curator of Social History at Birmingham Museums and Art Gallery. Lucy has extensive experience of project and exhibition management, interpretation development, community engagement and historic buildings management.

Associates
Lucidity Media collaborates with a wide range of media and interpretation specialists with skills in sound and film production, scriptwriting, app and web development, and training.

Production talent
We can put together the right team to deliver your audio and audiovisual content, using experienced broadcast producers, directors, actors and presenters.

Creative Writers
We work with creative writers to produce compelling site-specific drama for museums and cultural bodies. We can find the right talent for your needs.

We have well-established relationships with a number of web and visual designers who can deliver fully-integrated websites and smartphone apps with audio and audiovisual content.
