Audio & AV

We know how to make audio that both sounds good and is easy to listen to.

We understand how to tell stories in sound, catching the listener’s attention and keeping it, whether our clients want short clips for an audio guide, a regular podcast or an hour-long documentary.

We can design, develop and deliver your audio project from concept, research and recording through to mixed and edited files ready for use and sharing, whatever your platform or method of delivery.

Our BBC broadcast skills mean that we have extensive experience of contact research, interviewing, location recording, script writing, directing, music mixing and digital editing.

Our background in the heritage and cultural sector means that we also understand how best to use audio to enhance the visitor experience, not overwhelm it.

But most importantly, we know where the traps are - and how to avoid them.

Clients include the National Trust for Scotland; Forestry Commission Scotland, Alliance Française de Glasgow.

We help clients to focus their audiovisual content, identifying story lines, scripting, sourcing content, finding contributors, interviewing, filming and editing.

We know how to create content which works in context - making sure screen-based interpretation complements and enhances the exhibition experience.

To complement our in-house skills, we work with production and technical staff who have broadcast experience for the BBC and other major networks and companies.
